The grapes of Buttafuoco
Buttafuoco is a unique red wine produced only in Oltrepò Pavese. It’s a field blend of four indigenous grapes: Croatina, Barbera, Uva Rara and Ughetta di Canneto. This DOC can be used only by seven villages located in the eastern part of Oltrepò Pavese, in a small area (about 2.000 hectares) known as Sperone di Stradella.
