The grapes of Buttafuoco

Buttafuoco is a unique Oltrepò Pavese red wine produced from the joint vinification of four indigenous grapes: croatina, barbera, uva rara e ughetta di Canneto. This DOC can be used only by seven villages located in the eastern part of Oltrepò Pavese, in a small area (about 2.000 hectares) known as the Sperone di Stradella.
